Themepark Efteling can start the build of a holiday park "Bosrijk". Efteling has obtained a environment permit which allows it to commence the build. Last year Efteling already obtained a building permit. If no objections will be made to the plans, build will probably start next year.
Efteling has been planning on building a holiday park for quite a while. "Bosrijk" will have approximately 1000 to 1500 holiday homes and will cost 35 to 40.000.000 euros. The park is to be openend in 2009. The plan is to have people stay over night and also to attract people from further away.
